Chronological Mode
Chronological Mode is completed for Verbose mode, broken up into three sections that can be selected either in the beginning or from the conclusion screen. Although players familiar with Discovery and Verbose will find chronological mode nearly indistinguishable, here is what to anticipate:
Direct Chronological Sorting Pathway
Chronological mode does shuffle questions, nor does it adhere to the number of questions preference setting. Gated questions will still be gated, meaning that if you have unlocked them they will appear in order. If not, they will not appear.
There is a strong tendency for questions on a certain topic to appear in sequence or closely following one another, which is my biggest pet peeve quite frankly. The manner in which anti-repetition filtering is applied to Chronological mode is still under consideration, and will not be decided until the larger question set in Discovery Mode has been tested.
Chrono Discovery Mode
Next, I need to add chronological indexing to the multiple choice question set. Chronologizing myth has also given me some ideas for questions. Expect more multiple choice and even a few Verbose questions to be included in the next update.
No special achievements are planned for Chronological mode.
Early Access Will End
Whether it happens the same day, the same instant, or spread out by a few days, I have not decided, but this major update will signal the conclusion of Early Access.
